The first item of “The Eight-Point Cooperation Plan” proposed by former Prime Minister Abe to President Putin in May 2016, is an extension of health-life expectancy of which Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan is mainly in charge. Marubeni was selected as a project implementer for "Cooperation in the field of health promotion and preventive medicine (Far East)" of this governmental project.
